I just wanted to take a few minutes and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and happy holiday season. As you know, this time of year is a time that all of us should reflect on What Christmas Is Really All About. As you know, it is the day used by many to celebrate with gratitude and thankfulness the birth and life of Jesus Christ. Why? Because Jesus was the one who came to earth, took a human form, and died a bloody death on the cross so that all of the sins of mankind (past and future ) could be forgiven; and that Eternal Life in Heaven would be possible for all those who believe in Him as the Son of God, and have faith in Him as their Savior and Redeemer.
Christ was not only a spirit (Son Of God), but also a man. He was the greatest man that has ever appeared on earth, and his hundreds of miracles (40 recorded in the New Testament alone) attest to this fact. Not only did he raise 3 people from the dead, but he healed the sick, healed paralytics, healed the deaf, mute and the blind, healed lepers, performed exorcisms, turned water into wine (Cana wedding), fed thousands from just a few fish and loves of bread, walked on water, calmed the winds and seas, etc. These were truly not the works of an ordinary man, but one given authority by His Father in Heaven.
It is His life that we honor at this time of year. So keep Jesus in your thoughts and hearts this Holiday Season and beyond, and thank Jesus continually for all that he has done for you throughout the years. I myself thank Jesus for my birth, my being born in America (with all it's benefits and opportunities), my parents, siblings, education, business career opportunities, church, my entire family, my God, and for YOU.
Before signing off I thought I might pass along a few things you may not know about the Bible and Christianity.
1. Some of the most famous scientific thinkers of past times have come to the conclusion that God created the Universe and mankind. Noted scientific thinkers such as Collins, Descartes, Newton, Bacon, Pascal, Copernicus, Pasteur, Planck, Kepler, Boyle, Mendel, Marconi, Faraday, Morse, Linnaeus and others all came to this conclusion. Further, all of these scientific giants not only believed in the Bible and Jesus Christ, but became Christians as well.
2. The Bible is a collection of 66,000 manuscripts and scrolls. The New Testament of the Bible alone represents a collection of over 25,000 manuscripts/scrolls that have been found over the years from around the world. These documents were written in different languages (5,800 Greek, 10,000 Latin and 9,300 Other), and were written on papyrus, parchment, and other forms of communication of the day. To give you some idea as to the volume of pages these documents contained, the number of pages of the 5,800 Greek documents alone was an amazing 2.6 million pages. These 25,000 manuscripts found in many different places around the world have been translated by a multitude of elites, and amazingly support each other as to the life of Jesus Christ. Why? Because the prophecies of all these men were 'God Inspired'.
